Our Mission
At Clophill Eco Lodges, we aim to harmonize environmental preservation with exceptional guest experiences.
Every stay contributes directly to local conservation efforts, including the restoration of St. Mary’s Old Church,
and the funding of educational programs for children and adults.
We strive to inspire sustainable living practices by demonstrating their practicality and benefits through our eco-conscious design and community initiatives.
Innovating Sustainability
Eco-Friendly Construction
Our lodges are built to exceed standard regulations with advanced insulation, triple-glazed windows, and sustainable materials such as Cedar wood and recycled composite decking. These measures ensure long-term durability with minimal environmental impact.
Off-Grid Solutions
Utilizing a ground source heat pump, the lodges are efficiently heated through underfloor systems. Renewable electricity powers the site, and waste is processed on site with an aerobic digester. Rainwater is also harvested for landscaping needs.
Future Initiatives
Plans include solar energy installations and hybrid heating systems to further enhance our renewable energy portfolio and reduce our carbon footprint.
